The School
In May of 2003 a new school for children with Down syndrome and other special needs was established in the city of Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico. The school, La Nueva Esperanza Para Ninos Down, which translates The New Hope for Children with Down syndrome is giving
the children their first chance at a real education. Child Development International
provides neurodevelopmental services and educational and curriculum planning for the school, as well as computers, school supplies, and other developmental equipment.
