SERVICES

Child Development International, Inc. specializes in providing neurodevelopmental services to children with a wide range of neurological and developmental disabilities. Child Developmental International’s goal is to provide the specific tools and training needed for each child to reach his or her fullest potential.

Children evaluated include those with severe brain injury, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Fetal Alcohol syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, learning disabilities, global neurological delays, as well as a wide range of other issues.

Neurodevelopmental services provided to each child include evaluation in the areas of auditory and visual processing, verbal and nonverbal skills, gross and fine motor skills, conceptualization, tactility, educational level, behavioral issues, and social skills. Once a child is evaluated, an individualized program is developed based on that child’s current level of function. The parent, care-giver, or teacher is then taught how to implement the specific activities of that program at home or at school.

Child Development International has found that when these developmental programs are implemented and the proper amount of stimulation is provided, new neuropathways are established between existing brain cells and developmental and neurological improvements are made. In almost all cases, this translates to improved overall function of the child. In many cases, those who it was believed would never walk, talk, feed themselves, read, learn, or function in society are now doing all of these things and MORE.

Individual evaluations and consulting services in the United States are provided on a case by case basis. For more information please call (817) 703-4924.
